Great lighting and detail on this strange little bug. Looks like some kind of Sphinx moth perhaps??

The guys over here could probably ID it for you pretty quick, if you're curious.

Thanks fellas.
It was just an experiment with lighting angles.
Got my composition wrong. That's why it's cropped 4:3.
Basically this image is one of my many screw up's along the way.
I don't mind admitting it because I know where I want to be with this.

But really, I appreciate you guys chiming in.
