Calgary Auto Show

When the Kid [12 year old grandson) asked me to take him to the car show he mentioned that there would be lots of good photo ops. I hadn't been to a car show in at least 30 years so what do I know. I figured that there would be lots of light so I just took the K 5 and the 16-45, no flash. This 12 year old is a car enthusiast with very expensive taste but knows more about cars and their history than many grownups. He'll argue about spec's with the best of them. Anyway, the lighting was horrible, just the overhead sodium's with only sporadic spot lights but one does what one can with what is there. Here are a few:

I'm partial to Lamborghinis, but I would not turn down the Ferrari. Alas, I would not be able to pay for all the gas or tune-ups, though.

Heinrich, your photos turned out great, would look good on a brochure. Looks like your grandson has high inspirations, nothing wrong with that.
