Indeed. Atlanta is experiencing its annual extreme pollen season. While other places have warnings when the pollen count hits 500 we routinely have counts of 5000 this time of year. The count was 8000 this week, breaking the old record. The major pollens present were oak, pine, mulberry, sycamore, sweet gum and birch. That is a sheet of pollen that accumulated in <24 hours. And the topper is that I took the photo immediately AFTER I drove the car home from the clinic.
