WOW! You have just set the bar very high with these amazing macros! I absolutely love every tiny detail, the richness of colours and compositions. Wonderful work!

Thanks all! Glad you liked it, certainly is quite a job to do a 5-shots HDR out of a handheld macro and then try to find a way of tonemapping that doesn't shout LOOK AT ME, I'M HDR all the time...I use the tonemapping because it tends to bring out surface structures so well and gives quite a 3D feeling as well as this smooth softness. I absolutely think HDR and tonemapping is highly underrated because we see so many over-the-top garish results. As a photographic tool, the technique deserves better!
