Kookaburra up close
Lens: Sigma 70-200 + 1.4x TC Camera: K7 Photo Location: Back yard ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F2.8

A kookaburra in my back yard. This is a wild bird, but because they're so docile, they can be tempted up real close with some minced meat. I was less than 2 metres from this one, and there's no cropping whatsoever in this shot.

Gets a bit messy when they try to bash the mince on a branch though. Nice shot!
