Got some extension tubes delivered today along with a Pentax-M SMC 50mm so decided to have a look in the garden, all I can find at the minute seems to be ladybirds!

The depth of field is tiny trying to do this proved difficult as the small plant it was sat on was blowing slightly but through the viewfinder was all over the place, still at least she posed.

I too got extension tubes today but didn't have the same level of success - probably because I was trying to shoot the leaves flapping in the breeze (posted under the heading Not Quite There Yet).
You caught the ladybug quite well, and it is more a matter of what the bokeh is isn't doing to add to the image and some of this could be blurred out in post processing.
