Don't be vizjerei, this forum software will only open it up to your screen size largest.
Plus I reduced it to 2500 pixels, and cut the quality to 60%, so it should be safe with dialup.

Great pano Stu. I especially like its depth and the varied sky. That's a lot of images to stitch together.

very nice...

if you haven't already shared how you go about deciding how many pictures to take and how to position for each one, is there a tip sheet or some resource you use?

I know you use autostitch (i think), but just curious what else goes into the works of art...

thanks

Great pano Stu. I was impressed with my little 18 picture pano. Now I guess I will have to do a larger one this weekend.

Holy Cow!!!

42 images.... dang Stu.... YOU ROCK!!!! LOL

I just took one with 23 pictures and it was almost more than my concentration level could handle... How do you keep from loosing your place?

This picture is fantastic... When you stitch them together, what quality and size do you use.. I tried to stitch one together this morning from this week and well.. the file was to big for my POS computer to load into paint.net...

Your pictures are always stunning.... !!! and this is one is no different.. Great job!!!!

Thanks for sharin.. Kim

Thanks everyone once again.

I'll let you in on a little secret Kim, but don't tell anyone.
I did start off using Photoplus, and I do still use GIMP from time to time.
However I usually cheat with Autostitch

I will warn you that it doesn't work for everyone.
I've seen several peoples panoramics really soft in teh center while using it. However it seems to function really quite nicely with my computer.

autostitch.

I have had good luck with it as well.. until my large pano attempt.. I had to stitch it at 50% size and only 75% quality just to be able to open it in my PP program....

Guess I just need a computer upgrade!!!
