Sea dreams...
Lens: Tamron 70-200 2.8 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Kinego Bay, Donegal, Ireland ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F16

I haven't posted here in ages. These were taken last weekend using my now my most used lens the Tamron 70-200 2.8. I used a Hoya ND400 10 stop filter. I am sure these will not be many folk's cup of tea. Cheers, Garbhán.

Garbhan, these are my cup of tea and some crumpets too. Great use of the Hoya and SS here, a pleasure to view my friend. Take care across the pond. Bob

Garbhán, how can someone not like these. They are simply gorgeous. I would love to try this technique. May I ask if the shutter speed is correct. 1/30s seems as though it would be too fast to get this wonderful effect even with a ten stop filter. I really love these and thanks for posting them.

Hi Susan! Yeah they are indeed 30 seconds (all of them) I didn't have a remote so i was limited to 30... it was a relatively clam day also so i was quite surprised by how they came out. Thank you very much for the great feedback! Much appreciated indeed!

Garbhan, yes I was wondering about the SS, it was listed as 1/30 sec and I am glad you stated it was at 30 seconds. I continue to experiment with my Hoya filters but yet to get your excellent results. I am not giving up yet though my friend, I will conquer.
