Den, I don't know what it is, but I would sure like to have one. That 2nd shot is sci fi for sure.

It may be a transformer, watch if it changes into a Buick or something! I like the B&W, weird but cool.

If I remember correctly from growing up on the farm, it sure looks like an..........................irrigation well head, Sorry about messing up thee scifi and robotic theme. Cliff

Definitely some type of alien crafts that have attached themselves to irrigation well heads. They only come out at night. I know because I saw a movie like this back in the late 50's.

Looks to be a Byron-Jackson sump pump with a rain shield over the motor.

Ya, it is some kind of water pumping thing. This area used to be part of a huge ranch and grazing area. I remember some cattle and sheep (at different times) grazing around here. Mostly homes now!
