A group of seals on the beach at Ravenscar in North Yorkshire, just south of Robin Hood's Bay. Apparently they're there quite often, but you have to climb down a little cliff ledge to get close to them, and there are some inquisitive males around so watch out!

(Bit noisy because it's a close up crop from the K-x at ISO 1600)

With an image of my Schneider Betavaron 50-125/4-5.6 EL sitting atop my autopsy report. Yes, it WAS pried from my cold, dead fingers.

I like them, but maybe there is a touch too much sharpness or clarity? But I love the expressions of these little guys!

Especially on the close up of the grey seals face I think I've over-sharpened, but it was a close crop from the K-x at 1600 ISO so it was mega noisy, and I felt having noise detracted from the image, and that reducing the noise took away the clarity of it so I sharpened it up to make it stand on it's own two feet a bit more.

In general the sharpening is fairly light (20 points), but of a very large radius (2.5), and the clarity is set to 0 on most of the shots, apart from some of the landscapes, and I like that look, but thanks for the feedback!
