DOWN.
Photos taken from our campground. The balloon landed safely and passengers and balloon were loaded in chase vehicles. Quite a ride I would imagine.

When I noticed the balloon going downward, I just snapped some shots so was lucky to get any symmetry on any photo, I even missed my focus as you can see, but posted anyway. thanks Bob

This is super sequence, Bob. Frankly, I like the way the balloon progressively becomes indistinct as it descends.

Awesome shots, Bob! I've always wanted to go up in one of those balloons but I don't think I'd ever get the necessary courage to do it! Looks like it's quite a view and they are very pretty and colorful from the ground!

Thanks Jer, I hadn't thought of it that way. Too bad I already noted my bad focusing, I could of said I did it on purpose. I will remember this one buddy.:ugh:

thank you Lori, glad you like the photos. I am in the same camp as you, I don't think I would go up in one either, but like you said they are pretty to view and I am satisfied with that.

thanks Dave, years back we had one land right in our campground safely. It was a champagne flight and the passengers got out of the balloon with glasses in hand.

Had one land on a middle school playground right behind my house as I was mowing my yard. Pilot said the gas burner stopped working, and he was lucky it was on the weekend and there wasn't anyone on the playground. Most exciting day of lawn mowing ever.

Tom, I think I will just stay on the ground and take photos as they pass by or come down close by.
