My grandson plays baseball and was selected for one of the provincial teams. This week the South African inter-provincial tournament for juniors was held and this was an opportunity to finally do a bit of practicing in sports photography (never done it before).

I tried to get some photos on the first base as well, but nothing was happening while I was aiming at it and once I turned away it was bingo; more patience the next time.

great shots. baseball can be tough to photograph because you want the ball in the shot. You did it in several shot. great. As a baseball umpire boy are your sidelines exposed. Hope noone gets hurt on foul balls.
