12 hours

April 4th 2012 around 11:00 pm there was not a drop of snow to be seen. April 5th 2012 noon just finished the hardest shovel of the winter season. It was that wet, heart-attack snow. Not sure on the final tally for those 12 hours but it was the 15 - 20cm range for sure. Was a real strange storm, I head thunder and my neighbor saw lightening rare for winter storms. It will all be gone in a few days , gotta love spring in Alberta

Well look at it this way. It's either snow or paint the lawn like we do down south.

If it doesn't rain it pours so what can you say about snow.

Me to, but I'll express my sympathy again, Dave. We experienced our share of April snowstorms during our 14-year sojourn in Michigan - such storms are, indeed, a real bummer.

Thanks EM. Snow at this time of year is well - a PIA and depressing (but hardly unexpected)

Whoa. Incredible. We had such an early spring here it's hard to believe it could be snowing there!

We didn't get quiet as much but enough, I shovelled the side walk but not the driveway figured it would melt and it did in a couple of days.
