I just received my new (to me) K20D I bought from a member over at Pentax Forums. I didn't have much time before the sun set after I got home, so I hopped on my bike and went over to the local lake. Made it just in time

Super Takumar 28mm F3.5 at F8, 100 ISO 1/20th sec.




And here's a (bad) photo of my new camera. Can't wait to take it up into the mountains for landscape and wildlife photography!

I wanted another body so that I can have a wide angle and a telephoto available at the same time. I've had countless times while out hiking where I came up on an animal and had my wide angle lens on the camera. Putting the telephoto lens on often scares them away (having to dig in the backpack etc...). So now I can have both cameras ready to go, one with a telephoto prime and one with a wide angle prime.

I really only shoot with prime lenses anymore, so this will really make photography a lot easier.

Besides that, I wanted a more "Pro" grade camera with weather sealing for when I'm out in snow storms or the rain. I've also heard GREAT things about the K20D and its IQ at 100 ISO.

I have one of those!! I really do miss the k10 though. The K20 is my carry all camera that never leaveds my car. Cheers and good luck with ths set up. JIM
