Tiny flower, and a tiny bug

Don't know what they are, but both are very tiny..........purple flower and a red eyed beetle....

Great close ups... was this handheld or did you use a tripod? I am just starting to get into macro photography....

Edward, these were handheld, but I used a Sunpak DX-8R Ring Flash. I need something to help combat the shakes.

Nicely done - I believe the bug is denying he had anything to do with that hole on the leaf.
