The bee is the bonus.
Lens: 55-300 & 100mm wr Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma. ISO: 400
Posted By: charliezap, 04-11-2012, 06:55 AM

Yesterday all I wanted to do was re shoot my Bradford Pear tree with the 55-300 this time using my polarizer for a different look. The tree gives off a strange aroma and there were all kinds of insects flying about and climbing all over the tree. The bee was on the top of the tree about 10ft up and cooperated long enough for a shot. With all the activity happening I put the 100mm WR on to get some up close and personal pics.I'm going to love the new warm season here in the Boston area.I have a feeling that there are going to be many "Kodak Moments"--charliezap

These are such beautiful, detailed, and colorful images, Charlie! The bee one is my favorite, but I love all of them. The close ups are quite sharp and detailed as well!!

The whole set is really nice, but I agree with others that the particular blue of the sky sky really uplifts the first two images.
