It looks like some kind of DNA, lol. Great shot.

hah! yeh, it does look a bit odd dusnt it!!! it could be DNA,.lol.. but its not, its a minute flower head,... im talking rediculously small!!!

Was going to say it looked similar to a hibiscus stamen I shot not too long ago.

There are two of what look like spots of dust on your sensor that I see....if you could clone those out, that'd make this amazing shot even more flawless (great shot as is!!)

Beautiful mate.

Love the colour - and share the same problem of dust. Tried a local camera service centre and the Pentax O-ICK1 'sticky stuff on a stick' but the dust wouldn't come out. When you (or other K100D owners) find an effective way to get rid of the pesky stuff (without having to clone them out on PS), let me know!

thanks mate, im glad you like the shot
i noticed the dust... i think the extension tubes magnify the dust particles on the image.. as i cant see the dust specs on other shots without the tubes... its a pain in the butt!!
i will clone them out and i think this shot is worth printing on canvas and hanging on my wall somewhere..

thanks alot mate .... yeh, the colours are amazing arnt they!?
i think the only way to stop dust getting on the sensor is to never use the camera,hah!!!

Well.. I would say it looks like a HIV virus. DNA is helical Nice shot!

The colors in that shot are crazy. Very cool. Clone out the specks, print it and hang it!
