Shooting Spiders
Lens: SuperTak 55/2 + tubes Camera: K-5 Photo Location: house
Posted By: MSL, 04-15-2012, 06:30 PM

Morning scene:

Dad - there's a spider on the window.

Hang on a sec, I'll come and shoot it.

Did someone say there's a spider in the house?

Yes, and dad's gone to get his camera to shoot it.

First photo - full set of tubes, no flash
Second set - half set of tubes with flash - f16
sharpening filters applied but no other post-processing.

Awesome, LOL!

Nice shots, I like the first one a lot. It really shows the translucency of the spider.

Edit: I think I found a lil forum bug, strange how that quote is attributed.

@Philoslothical - well spotted on the attribution. As a guess, it may be that I edited the post right after submitting it to include the details about the sharpening.

Possibly, but I think it's due to the different posting format for this section. It may have been based on one of the off the shelf modifications, and the mod author may have missed that bit. It's pretty common to see that kind of detail skipped when dealing with mods for other forum scripts I work with.

Sorry for the offtopic.
