#5 is a really good shot - him stretching for it really makes you feel the action, really a perfect sports shot when you can get the snap right at the climax as you did in that shot, too bad the ball is not in the frame; a fantastic shot nonetheless...!!!

JP, you are right about #5 being a great action shot but the ball is in the frame, he missed it. The ball is in lower loop of the B...Cliff

Wow - You got those shots at home plate from the top of The Monster?
Nice. Real nice. Looks like the 300 with the TC makes a nice combo - Although I'm sure being connected to the K5 helped!

Yea I was real surprised at what the 300mm + the TC could deliver, especially from a handheld position. New respect for Pentax Glass. The photographer next to me was also impressed. His Nikon gear was much heavier without an advantage in IQ...

yea baby! Sitting or standing? If you are standing may I recommend going in early with your RSN pass. In that way you can get the best place, which for me was right under the sports authority sign. In the shade and yet close to the action. Ah, to be in Fenway in the spring!

I actually got to go opening day with my son :-) - here is link to pictures from that day if your board Red Sox Opening Day 4-13-12 - we are sitting row 3 :-) had standing about 2 years ago it was great.
