lots of such animals can be seen here, sometimes they look pity, sometimes they deserve respect for surviving tough competition of "free life on the streets"... anyway I always enjoy taking photos of them, they look definitely different from their lazy pet (captive) cousins...

Those are fantastic photos. For strays, they seem to be doing quite well.

You've got right down to eye level which is what so many people forget when they photograph animals and children. Great job.

Trouble is, I want to take them all home to live with me.

Very nice. They look pretty well-fed and groomed for strays. Hereabouts, with a university in town, we get lots of strays every spring, when the kids go home. Is it similar for you?
Thanks for sharing.

Michael, thanks much for your comment. Luckily there's a lot of good hearted women around who feed these guys from time to time, so they look pretty good.

Igor,

Nice work with the old M 200/4. Very sharp images.

Beautiful cats for strays. They look better than my house cat that never goes outside.

All good shots ,the last one looks a bit of a hefty specimen

Tom, thanks a lot for your comment. I love old lenses, even if they're not as sharp as some modern ones

The more I look at that pic the more I want that Siamese. What a beautiful cat. I hate the fact that they are all strays. All cats should have a lap to sit in and someone who loves them.

Wow the detail in those blue eyes is amazing. Looks like that one might be related to Carl.

Thanks for sharing these.

I'm very much with cmohr, the eyes in that first shot are startling, arresting, beautiful. Hard to pull your own eyes away from that icy but warm stare.
