Remembering Stephen--1969-2012
Photo Location: Saugus Ma.

Last Monday I was still down in Cape Cod when I got a devastating call from my oldest boy Mike who was at the Red Sox game when he got the message"Stephens gone".What made it so surreal was that Stephen's brother Albert passed away On March 1st of this year at the age of 39 and now Stephen. The family lived up the street and my 3 boys were good friends with the 4 brothers for many many years.Stephen could light up a room with his smile and will never be forgotten.I was honored to be part of his surprise 40th birthday party 3 years ago and luckily had many pictures of him from that cherished day that the family now can look back on with fond memories. The last picture is of the four brothers -Albert--Stephen-Joe & Chris.I've never been to a wake where it took 2 hrs standing in line just to get into the funeral parlor. He was very well liked and my boys are heartbroken to say the least. Its been a dark week but the memories of the good times will help us through this trying period.God bless Albert and Stephen.--charliezap

Sad indeed Charlie.....I sympathize with your pain. Life is so short....we don't realize just how short, until we lose a loved one.

Regards....maybe a good time to add my favorite line...."Enjoy today, it will never come again"

They were from a big Italian family. Albert and Steve had the mannerisms at times that you'd swear were from Goodfellas--The-Godfather or the Sopranos.--charliezap

I thought that once I retired life would be much simpler but that isn't happening at the moment.Hopefully the Spring will be a genesis of new- good happenings.--charliezap
