Zabriskie Point, Death Valley
Lens: 43 ltd Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Death Valley
Posted By: Bob Harris, 04-22-2012, 09:08 PM

Zabriskie Point is an elevated overlook of a colorful undulating landscape of gullies and mud hills at the edge of the Black Mountains, just a few miles east of Death Valley. From the viewpoint, the flat salt plains on the valley floor are visible in the distance. This is one of the most popular spots for photography in the park. Hope you enjoy the view, all shots handheld.

Bob,
Amazing, as usual. I think my favorites are pictures 1-4.
The depth is excellent in every shot. You definitely do the location justice!

thank you Reed, glad you enjoyed the photos, it is a wonderful place to visit and the colors really change with the light. I checked the temp in DV and it is 109 today and summer isn't even here yet. Bob

I wouldn't doubt that at all Charlie, and Area 51 isn't too far from here either.
