Aquaristic Shots! Taken with Pentax K10D and tamron 70-300

ISO400 300mm f/5.6 1/180sec No-Flash AWB
Gobiodon okinawae, Yellow Clown Goby

ISO800 180mm f/4.5 1/90sec No-Flash AWB

i love the 2nd shot mate.well done .. ive never tryed photography through fish tanks/enclosures,,,.. is it a bit tricky? we have an aquarium here in melbourne.. i might have to go one day and see what i can come up with,,,,

Thanks ! Yeah... It can be tricky! Especially when your lens (tamron 70-300) has got a tendency to focus before/after subject! Glass needs to be plain (shooting through bow-front glass is difficult), and clean! Moreover, you have to take photos in the dark to minimize reflections caused by back light! In my case (mentioned tamron 70-300) I've used "macro" function of the lens (90cm minimum distance) so IS-on is a must! I'm getting sigma 24-70 f/2.8...

ahhhhk.. awesome , thanks for the tips mate.. i might just have to go and see what i can come back with!!! i might have my fisheye 10-17 by the time i go to see the fishes also.... a fish with a fish eye.. hmmm
