Trying something new which is always fun. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I do like the softness of the images and bokeh....kind of painterly.

I concur with the above comments. All are good, 3 in particular demonstrates how to isolate a subject from the foreground as well as the background.

Thanks Rense. The poppies are popping everywhere in California. The recent rains have helped produce a nice wildflower year.
