Old Elicar manual macro lens.......m.......the male red headed mouse spider.......venomous spider that burrows on river banks near where we live. Not too big maybe 1.5cm.........hubby kindly brought him home for me :ugh:

Scary. How thoughtful for hubby to bring it home.

We had something the locals called a "Mallee Mouse Spider" up near the Murray River. I have never seen one but they were brown in colour quite large and reputed to be venomous.

That is one super-cool spider. None around here that are half as fearsome. Excellent macro.

WOW Good capture... Is Spider dead? maybe put spicder in freeze until dead. Then take picture of spider????
