I got away for a few days down the coast, these are some bird shots from the trip.

Greta series. I especiall like the last two. The bird coming in to land is spot on and I just love cockies

thanks for the comments Bob, it was a good place to practice the BIF shots, missed quite a few but a couple ok.

Thanks Bruce, these Cockies where "hanging around" Lorne all afternoon, they were quite playful

Very enjoyable series. Don't you just love how the wet sand softly reflects the birds? The second from the last is my favorite, but all are good. Thanks!

thanks cmohr, glad you liked them, I had the feeling he'd done this many times before, performing in the hope that someone may pass up a tasty morsel perhaps!

thanks for the comments Tamia, I didn't see this at first, but one I did I hung around for ages taking shots between receding waves trying to get the reflections, great fun!
