Clouds over Construction

Out the other day taking a few Black and Whites with the K-5, can't remember if this was or wasn't HDR, but the clouds were great.

Those are interesting layered clouds and they are set off nicely against the silhouetted foreground. Nice job.

Great shots - I particularly like the first one. Very nice conversions.

Yes, the clouds were really odd the puffy clouds high up and then the wisps of low cloud flowing in made for such a dramatic sky.

I too prefer the first one, its a little blown out where the sun is poking thru (actually too blown out but not much I could do) These are both Black and White jpegs straight out of the camera no PP done.

Thanks for the comments folks and thanks for looking

I do try

It actually looked like that in real life too, very impressive to see above me.

Yes, I do like the angle of the 20-35 pentax lens, its one of my old ones and I only just recently got it back out after a thread about "your best lens you don't use" and started to use it. Shows you don't always have to go ultrawdie on a APS-C size camera to get a dramatic wide effect.

Thanks again for looking guys, comments are appreciated
