A wonderful wildlife shot. I like Den's interpretation! I was going to the seedier side with my first look. But a great capture! How are you able to get as close to the action? I have a DA 300 as well and know that you would have to be quite close to fill the frame like that.

Its not that difficult if you know their resting places. This couple uses 3 places that are close to eachother. A few minutes before they were at this particulate spot so i decided to wait. I posted a few days ago a pic of the swallow that filled up the whole frame. Last year i could get so close that i even could touch the swallow, but that was later in season. The rest of the bunch still has to come back.
