I moved the finch feeder from 50ft to 10ft from the window.I got one shot today. My preference is the first shot which is a combo of K5's pastel filter and posterization filter. The 2nd is pastel mode and the last is original.Next time I take this shot the tape comes off the feeders that are blocked off.If I kept them open the seeds would be gone in one day.-charliezap

the more I see the pastel filter effect, the more I like it Charlie. I am going to incorporate that more in some landscape shots. thanks Bob

The first does catch my eye with the rich colours. So my vote is for number 1.

Most of the time Bob the original shots are better but now and then the K5's filters can give a shot that different look that can be more appealing.--charliezap

Definitely a "painterly" quality. (I imagine real painting artists would be horrified by that statement), but I really like the look of #1. Yup, lose the tape

Capn, I'm also a fan of number 2. Nice effect - can it be modulated?

Thanks to all for commenting. As for Jer's question you can apply filter upon filter with the K5 to get many different looks while the card is still in the camera.I tweaked #2 in PSP to brighten it up a bit.--capn zap
