Grand Central Station........[7 IMG]
Posted By: Duplo, 01-14-2008, 07:33 PM

Well, did a lot of shooting inside Grand Central Station over the last two days and I have processed some of those so her goes, first shootout was relatively early in the morning and I battled the strong sunlight flooding through the windows vs. the poor general lightning, but it gave some interesting photos i think.
Day 1:

Now second day was not much better lightning wise, but still good fun...
Day 2:

thanks for looking.

Comments and critics are as always highly welcome

As usual excellent. I really like the B&W in this series. Did you do this handheld or set up a tripod? . I have been looking at bags for business traveling with a camera and a 15 in laptop, what do you use?
Thank you WW2.
Appreciate you liking them.

No tripod for these, for #5 I used a wide handrail and the front cap from my Nikkor14-24 as a substitute... worked out OK.

I travel with a Lowepro Vertex 100AW

Lowepro - Vertex 100 AW - Lowepro eCommerce

On this trip it held (totally stuffed):

12'' laptop
Nikon D3 with Nikkor 14-24 attached.
Nikkor 50mm f1.4 AF-D
Pentax K10D with grip
Pentax FA43ltd
Pentax DA21ltd
Sigma 105 macro
Chragers, cables, remotes, memorycards, rocketblower, clenaing kit, etc.
Portable harddrive

It might have room for a 15'' laptop, but I am not sure.

I packed a Domke F3x in the suitcase for lightweight day to day use.
