First attempt of group shot my sons and I, start to final edited shot, the blue on my nose is an ink catastrohe with epson 3880. I think I have failed?

Thank you Adam,
Your words are kind, there was an issue, with the blue tinge on my nose( I have had a malfunction with epson 7600 prior to shoot) all worked out well in the end. except forgot to wash face.

These look like a lot of fun Shane! Made me smile!! The blue on the nose adds a unique touch to an already unique shot. Not sure if we should be seeing that clicker in your hands....your son on the left is very flexible Makes me want to post a couple recent ones of my son and I...

thank you for sharing

Thanks Tess,
Yes I kinda missed the remote in final shot, however after 10 mins of sons debating who looks best, me thought na take the shot and work it out later. Go for it post a pic of oneself and son and be a proud parent. Ages left to right 13, 45,17.
Cheers
Shane

Nice photos Shane. Couple of nice ideas on posing for everyone. I like it.

You folks are more flexible than me though, I doubt I could bend my leg like that!!

For a different balance to the photo, you'd sit cross legged while each son had a different leg up on the other.

I like the admission about the ink problem, people can always tell when I've refilled cartridges, each finger tip is several different colours!.

Thanks Micheal,
yes my legs were quite uncomfortable, I think the boys were ok though, younger and more flexible. Heads up, used 2 metz Af-58-2 flash units off camera, one wonders were they followed advice and own instincts, on flash units . Dont ya hate it when ink goes where you dont want it!!
Cheers

Last one looks fine! Having a little fun is sometimes more important than what you get......in my case the fun is usually always better than the result!

Regards!

Did you mask in the new background or move the couch and rug to a new location? Good relaxed family portrait.

Great, I am finally making to plung to printing my own work. Was looking at the Epson 4900 but decided on the 3880 because the 4900 weighs in at 115 pounds and takes up a whole room just to store. Cheers JIM

I do apoligise for being late with reponse. Good choice although Does not the larger printer give one the the occasion to use roll paper rather then manual sheet feed?? You will love your printer using epson papers, diverse from epson paper and one enters the world of profiling, screen, paper, print, and a lifetime of headaches
