Wind kept gusting causing my focus to go off. Should have been better. Looks like a small Katydid.

You brought back memories with that shot. I'm waiting the arrival of my buggy friends and my resident hummingbird this season. That 100mm lens is a sweet piece of glass.--charliezap

Good one Charlie. Wind died down a little, so I went back out to the plum tree. He was still there, got a closer shot...............

I noticed that your eifx data says that you are shooting 1/160 at f1.0 100 iso.The f1.0 has me baffled.I'm going to go outside and shoot something at 100 Iso and then with the on board flash to see what the difference is with the dof and clarity..--charliezap

I'm shooting manual with a ring flash. With the manual lens, camera mode on manual, it will only show F----. So the camera will not record the f stop. I switch the lens aperture between F8-F16 depending on how close I am to the subject. The A setting on the Sunpak ring flash says @ISO 100, the aperture should be f8 between 12-40 inches. I found that I have to adjust a little on that. I like the fact the 100 M macro has the half stops on the ring also.

I love green on green...nice shooting!

I'll probably get a nasty mail from a Mod for posting in another person's thread, but I wanted to share these green ones I always loved. If they get me they will have to get Charlie too......Charlie, I have Louie Lawyer Squirrel standing by for our defense!

He's green...on green!

Same here! He looked surprised to see me!

If you can get any more, get them...I love green on green, but seldom get any.
Regards!

I don't have a problem with you posting in my thread. Love to see them. Those are outstanding.. especially the first one. Second one looks like you have been out to my plum tree.
