Song Sparrow

Had a few moments today so it was off to the pond to see what might be flying around. Song Sparrows were the target du jour. They seem to be quite abundant in the area at this time.





Looks like he just came from the shower.

Love the ruffled feathers in that first shot. The 400 is giving fine IQ.

Don't think I caught him at his best but it is an interesting look.

As for the 400 I have a lot of fun with it - PF/CAs and all.

Very sharp. Are you using the stock focusing screen or have you changed it?

Thanks for looking Charlie.

Still using the stock screen for the moment. I have a KatzEye in my K10 but I plan to

swap out the screen in the K5 shortly. Every now and then I get a little wood on the ball with the

original screen but focusing is much easier with the KatzEye.
