some MORE city shots with a bit of the ol' DEE VEE style...

hey guys, well i decided i would go out and take some more shots of the street art/culture around melbourne to show you all.. i hope you like the images

this is my favourite hang out in melbourne.. i spend most of my spare time in this little part of the city when i want to chill back with mates or even some when im by myself like today..

here is one of the many laneways, always bustling with people and lots of fantastic cafe's...

here is a place that gets regulary gets updated with new art.. its a great experience, absorbing so much input... some of the messages,poems and statements are hilarious to say the least, while some have strong meanings behind them.. each and every one is very special....

Look forward to seeing them Kev. These and the others really give a good overall picture of a city on the move.

Thanks mate. number 7 and 11 get my vote from the rest. The colours are wonderful however I am really impressed with the DOF in number 8 - Heaps of interest in the shot

no worries! glad you like them mate.. thanks alot!! with me, i dont really have a particular style of photography that i stick too, so you will often find that i have a tendancy to post some strange shots at times... and other times i will post 'user friendly' shots that appeal to a larger crowd.. i really try to keep my photography fresh and let myself learn in my own time. i dont see photography as a fashionable hobby, i see it as a life journey...

I am similar actrually. At times I can be seen by my family -who think I'm nuts, photographing a hot dog, a piece of string, a brick and any other non-desript item from our everyday world. On the other side of the coin we have a wedding to shoot in two weeks time so my tastes vary greatly also.

i think you and me will get along just fine!! hah! theres nothing wrong with taking a photo of a hotdog!! hah!

Wow, what a fantastic glimse into an amazing part of your city. We have an area called graffiti alley here in Toronto, but it isn't as bustling with activity. Truth be told, the only people you usually see in the alley are cooks on smoke break or other photographers :-)

There are some really superb pictures of some superb art, thanks for sharing them, i feel suitably inspired to go and find some graffiti Unfortunately our local council washes off anything like that (cause they aint got nothin better to do!)
