Photographic Frenzies are so much fun and your results are terrific! I love the Flicker (?) the first shot. We have one here nesting close to the house...at first I thought it was a woodpecker. Your mallards and red wing black bird are wonderful captures... oh, so is the Canada Goose in flight! Nice and crisp!! I'll have to haul out my bird book. I'll get back to you....

All stunning shots, thanks for sharing such beauties. I really can't get over that shot with the red winged blackbird, it blows my mind I can't stop looking at it, I literally think I love everything about it.

Wow, buddy - these are great - sharp and clean, but I also like the compositions that put the birds in context.

Thanks Tess looks like pete-tarmigan nailed them all. It is fun to have a place relatively close where I can try some different approaches.

Thanks Damon - that one is one of my favorites as well - perfect lighting a low lying sun almost directly behind him, and a tack sharp lens.
