Fading Rose
Lens: Rikenon 50mm 1:2.8 Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Melton, Victoria ISO: 1000 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8

A "Gold Bunny" rose starting to decay. Shot with a very old Rikenon 50mm lens taken from a bellows unit and mounted on a reversing ring.

Interesting combo but seems to be a lot of noise in the shot or is it just me?

Out of the camera it was very flat and soft. A bit too zealous in PP perhaps? All in all, I think I will stick with the Sigma.

I revisited this over-night and discovered to my acute embarrasment that my default "save as jpeg" setting in Photoshop Elements had somehow changed to the lowest possible quality. and resulted in a 54 K file being saved. Lesson learned.
