Flowing River
Lens: Super Takumar 28mm F3.5, SMC Takumar 55mm F1.8 Camera: Pentax K20D Photo Location: Northern Colorado ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: >6s Aperture: F11

I had some time after work today, so I decided to see if I could learn how to use the filters I just received. I used the river that flows through Loveland for the subject.

I used a Super Takumar 28mm F3.5 lens at F11 for the first image and a SMC Takumar 55mm F1.8 lens for the second. Both were set to F11 and both used a Cokin P filter holder and a Hitech 2.7 ND filter as well as a 3 stop hard graduated filter.

I only spent a few minutes taking the shots, but I can already see where I'll be using this setup in many landscapes.

Thanks everyone! Just wish I bought these filters a lot sooner. I missed some great shots I could have taken with waterfalls and other things during my back country hikes.

Looks like I have a good excuse to grab my pack and take off for a few days now though!
