FYI: Saturday evening the largest moon of the year will be on display. Here is a link for more info, we should get some great photos from PF members, looking forward to your threads.

Some very nice photos presented here.

I was out camping last night in Ontario, Canada. While the clouds were away, I was busy just enjoying the light of the moon - when I finally got around to getting my camera gear out the clouds had moved in.

Far away and no supertele lenses but the image turned out nice.

Lovely shot Bob and some great others on this thread too... very nice! The couple of times i seen the moon here last night it didn't look super in any way!
