Night 2012 Super Moon in Ottawa, Canada

I took a lot of pictures of the SuperMoon last evening and this morning but made the rookie mistake: I controlled the shutter (despite what it says above, it was 1/160) and aperture and let the ISO do its "auto thing", to my dismay. In fact I thought the NR of the K-5 was better than it turned out to be in this shoot. Anyway, I want to make a contribution here - just to show I was out doing what photographers go out and do and to at least associate myself with the really great photos that have been taken. I'm not totally disappointed with my effort - I learned some good lessons, which I will try to remember.

Just think, you can grab it again tonight! It's going to be fairly clost to last night's moon, though just past full.
