Afternoon in the Gardens - Roma St Brisbane
Lens: D FA 100/2.8 Macro Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Close to the ground

I took a friend to the gardens to introduce him to photography, I took a few pics myself.

Wow! what a great series! I love your thread title too. The black and white conversions are outstanding, the colours are rich and vibrant. I just adore your little dinosaur

Thank-you, he was a star performer, not at all concerned with me being so close to him.

The Black and Whites are straight out of the K-5 with white balance set to B&W, really impressed with the creative side the K-5 allows without spending time in PP. And I could see what was or wasn't working in B&W as I was taking pics, so again, using the K-5 as the tool its intended to be.
