Red Solo Cup Sunset
Camera: K5 Photo Location: Nevada
Posted By: Bob Harris, 05-08-2012, 09:44 AM

We are currently camping at the "Winery at Charleston Peak", which has the only winery in the state of Nevada. Just happens our campsite is on Merlot Street, and this sunset seemed very appropriate for the name. I thought Charlie and all of you wine connoisseurs might enjoy this shot.

The color transitions look cool, Bob. Do they have Bud Light street, where all the poor folk like sleep under tarps and lean-tos?

Yeah Jer, I think that is right next to Rhine Road, near the ditch.

I've never seen colors like that around here! Beautiful, Bob. Love the composition with the sign in the foreground, too!

I am in awe... the colours in that sky and so gorgeous. We are so lucky to see such phenomena, so lucky to love taking pictures. Thanks for sharing the magic.

Lori, the real trick here was matching the sign with a sunset, thankfully I have a lot of time to do things like this.

Lots of opportunities if you ever visit Arizona, they have great sky colors there too.

thank you Susan, I've been known to drink to a colorless sunset, just to stay in practice of course.
