Yesterdays Dog Walk, Gt Gable, Lake District
Camera: K-5
Posted By: mark lj, 05-13-2012, 02:36 AM

Had a nice wander yesterday with the dog, my boy and my father-in-law. Apart from the boy nearly killing me by dislodging a large boulder onto me above Hells Gate it all went fine. Most pics taken with the DA*16-50 which is my preferred walking lens. I think the only other lens to make it on yesterday was the little DA70. Nice conditions but quite windy and cold at times.

Wastwater - not through a wee cloud

Piers Gill on Scafell taken from the Climbers Traverse

The Boy and his Grandad on Green Gable - Pillar in the background

A wee bit of Sourmilk Gill - longer than intended but liked the atmosphere once I'd done it.

Great shots enjoyed them all especially the portrait of your son and his grandfather, I must take some of these shots for the future.

Enjoyed the series. Thanks for sharing. Really like the dreamy effect of the waterfall and the others really show the weather conditions.
