I've changed the first post, because it repeats every page. If you missed the 6 images the first time, do not worry, they will reappear somewhere down the page. I also have less images per post so it does not bog down people's slower systems...

It starts at #7, now.

56. Once into the alternate reality of the city, it's off to Grand Central Terminal. This is another flash-back...

57. Unknowingly, I zig-zagged into the garment district, a block or two south of Times Square. On the right is a monument to the garment worker, on the left, a monument to free time.

58. Hollywood has the Walk of Fame, NYC has the Walk of Fashion.

59.

60. It's really important that you post no bills.

61. A few blocks west on 42nd is Times Sq, one of the hubs of activity. Madison Avenue is famous for advertizing companies.

62. If you get lost, remember...avenues go north-south, and streets go east-west.

This is where Grand Central Terminal comes in...

Another flash-back between Grand Central and the Bridge Walk...

63. These things accelerate and decelerate faster than you might think.

64. Popped out near City Hall, seen here.

65. This is Manhattan...

66. New York used to be Dutch and was called New Amsterdam - but why Roman numerals?

75. City Hall bikes.

76. The Sugar House prison window came from the prison built in 1773 and used by the British to hold Americans during the Revolutionary war. The prison was demolished in 1892, and the window was put into another building as a historical artifact. When that building was demolished in 1968, the window was placed here.

77. Horace Greeley started the New York Tribune newspaper, and wrote editorials about social and political issues, including abolition of slavery. He was nominated for President of the US in 1872, but lost, and died shortly thereafter. He's famous for saying "go west, young man".

78. Passive is OK.

As a born and raised New Yorker, I love all that the city showcases. What type of lens did you use? I see some fisheye in some of them.

That is the Pentax 10-17. I also took the Pentax 12-24 and Sigma 17-70.
