Thanks very much. I said before but I tossed it up for a while whether I liked it, however overall I think the feeling conveyed is what I was going for. One problem is that the retro-look is pretty popular now with hipstamatic and instagram, and so much that comes out of those is just average snapshot photography that one worry is the images are kind of rejected out of hand due to the look, which mostly seems to be a way of making images more interesting when the content or composition isn't interesting by itself.
Was difficult choosing the final series from these three posts (and other images too), in part because some of digital images I already
have in black and white and prefer them that way more as stand-alone images or part of other sets. There are maybe half a dozen like that, some included in these sets as colour and some left out.
The other thing that was tough was getting the digital shots to look similar to shots taken with a fifty dollar plastic camera (which is actually surprisingly decent). I think the final product is hard to tell the difference, so that's good.
