Long Haul Trucking
Lens: DA 15ltd
Posted By: jsherman999, 05-15-2012, 10:55 PM

I was the passenger in a vehicle today, so I wound the strap tightly around my wrist and made a couple truckers slightly curious

Just a few, hope you enjoy.

These rigs look so massive. First time I drove cross country back in the '60s was in a Sprite, a two-seater roadster that you ordered by suit size. It came with a shoehorn for getting in and a can opener for getting out. Every time an 18 wheeler passed in the opposite direction, I swear my little car was pushed two inches sideways by the wake.

Ah, I enjoyed this series of crisp photos, and wish you showed even more. I have long-haul truckers in my family, and the sight of a truck rumbling along the highway always pulls at me.

Thanks! Sometimes driving on the interstate is like driving in a canyon

Thanks Tamia, glad these could bring back memories.

Really nice shots -- especially the first and the last. You did a terrific job composing them and making the mundane look cool!

Very cool Jay, I love the 'batman' angle on these and BW was a good call.
