Ok, so that's no big news to you guys, but you are talking to a former Canon user that has never had access to IS lenses. But, who needs any piddly IS lenses now anyway?!

A little test I did almost as soon as I got the camera out of the box. I was so excited to get a chance to really, really, really try it for myself.

Yep AS or SR as Pentax calls it was a big reason I got into Pentax. It has saved many a shot as my eyes get a little older and hands a little less steady, especially in winter! And it is indeed nice to have built into the Body so as any lens can take advantege.
