Camera: K100D Photo Location: Alaska

This is my second post. All these were taken in Alaska in 2011, and I think all were at 300mm on my pentax 55-300 lens.

That first one is awesome! That Salmon is beautiful!!!

I hope you had a sidearm with you being that close to the bears...

Actually, the shot was taken from an elevated boardwalk about 10 feet above the stream, so we felt quite safe.

First two shots are great. Tell the waiter to take back the fish - it looks half eaten already...

Like the second photo best, but wouldn't want to be too close to the bear and cub.

Lovely shots of the Alaskan wildlife. That is one huge Orca.
