Remember When?
Lens: Tokina 28-70 ATX AF 2.8 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F5.6

Still working on wedding shots...will be for a while. I just processed this one and was thinking......remember when you were young and found your true love.....wasn't it exciting! As time passes, it evolves into less excitement and passion, but the memories are still there!
I still have the love of my life, Mrs Rupert. She doesn't spend as much time "thrilling me" as she does trying to keep me going in the right direction!
Regards!

She has her man, and is thrilled!

I think you captured "True Love" Rupert, nicely timed photo which the couple will cherish forever.

Sorry Rupert, I look at this photo and see the expression on his face as being somewhat mischievous and the expression on her face as being oh my goodness, what have I gotten myself into?
But I understand the sentiments you are talking about and fortunately my TL keeps surprising me in the right way.

Thanks guys! Just a fun shot...I think it needs a little more "pop"?

Any better?

From a photography point of view, the second image has more pop.
In terms of what it conveys, I think it only reinforces my analysis.

Patrick, thank you for noticing that flaw.....not sure how it happened, but when I went back and did it again, when saved it did the same thing...created a double eyebrow, then it disappeared when it came up in the folder? Very strange! I've been editing and processing so much I didn't even notice......I'm half blind after this week anyhow!
Thanks for the notice!........
Best friends are fantastic, aren't they! I kind of like Mrs Rupert too....and most of the time, I think she likes me too!

Regards!

Better?

Ah young love. I wish them all the best. It is nice to see that people are still getting married though fewer seem to be taking that step anymore. May their happiness continue through their 50th anniversary and leave room for more.

Thanks again guys/girls! It was a fun day, but very tiring and long! Thanks for all the best wishes for the young couple. It is a tough world for marriage nowadays......been through the valley and up on the hill, for better or worse, Mrs Rupert has "tolerated" me for 46years....and all the while she has remained "perfect". Someone pass that along to her....it might get me a new lens?
Regards!

Dear Mrs Rupert

Your husband is just one in a million. He is kind, considered, intelligent and devoted to you and loves you very much. He always speaks very highly of you and never misses a chance to tell anybody how perfect and forgiving you are. He also points out you are the best cook in the neighborhood.

Greetings
