At long last the journey continues....
Posted By: Heinrich Lohmann, 01-18-2008, 07:11 PM

...here are a few from Prince Edward Island. It's a bit out of sequence but we'll go to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia later.

This one was taken from the top deck of the ferry boat leaving P.E.I for Nova Scotia.

This was a frosty morning at the cottage where we stayed for a few days

and a sunset from the same place

Cape Bear lighthouse

Point Prim lighthouse

here are a few from Panamure Head

If anyone is interested the whole lot is here:

It is still a work in progress but it will be finished probably later than sooner.

Let me know what you think, comments are always welcome.

Looks like you had a great trip Heinrich. I really like the lighthouse shots. It is evident you took a lot of care and consideration into each of these shots; they are nicely balanced and very appealing. I don't know if I would insult you if I said they look like postcards - by that I mean 'very professional'. Especially #4 to #9. You should sell these to the PEI tourist bureau. Hell, they make me want to revisit PEI!

Looks pretty familiar Heinrich. You captured PEI very well in all the shots. The misty morning is great. Very nice series.

I'm an Island girl myself and it was great to see some familiar sights. Looking forward to summer when i will visit with my K10D instead of a little p&s. Loved your light houses, shacks and scenes.

Can't echo what everyone else said, Heinrich, gorgeous stuff.

Though I'm partial to frost and fog and stuff like that, #2 is my favorite of the bunch.

Once again great series Heinrich - I love the red earth shots on the beach. Reminds me of summer days long ago going out digging for clams and then the clam bakes at night.

Heinrich, ANYTHING with salt water in it is a great shot! That said I'll echo Dan M about the foggy morning scene, love the frost on the grass in the next one down too. All those lighthouse shots are fabulous and makes me even more determined to retire to ME (Maine for those outside the US) as soon as is financially possible.
