Great shot Bob , brings back memories. They year after my mom passed , I took Dad on this train and it was a great trip to the Grand Canyon. They even staged a train robbery. We had a private booth , I remember the food being really good as well.

Glad it brought back some good memories Dave, we rode the train last year, but this time drove up there so we weren't on their schedule to get back on the train.

The rest of the Locomotive Breath in-camera filter edited photos. If you don't care for this type of photos please remember that Charlie has the Handle, it isn't my fault.

Nice going Bob with the filters. It's good to know that they are there if we want that type of application.Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but it's fun to see how our original pictures can be changed and maybe present us with a shot better than the original.--charliezap

Great Series Bob! My favourites are the first and second images... very interesting renderings! I can see why so many people have a passion for trains. They are great subjects.

thanks for taking a look Charlie, I just wanted to give it more of a dedicated try and once I got used to the different applications found it is quite easy and fun to use. Thanks for the inspiration. Bob

thank you Tess, glad you liked the view here. Steamers are my favorite but you don't get too many opportunities to see them in action.

Oooh, I love this toning, Bob! Fits the subject so well. Not to mention the fabulous composition! The second shot you posted is a stunner, too!
